Yesterday the flurries started on and off, but nothing stuck. When we woke up this morning our backyard looked like this:
It's definitely not enough to build a snowman, but enough to get a little girl excited:
We were in the middle of eating breakfast, hence the strawberry jam all over Rachel's face, when the snow really started falling. Rachel was quite excited and rushed over to the window to watch. As we were walking home from the shopping center this afternoon we got snowed on. We tried to get Rachel to stick her tongue out and catch a snowflake, but she wasn't exactly willing. Andy's been singing Christmas songs all day long, so the first snowfall has definitely brought out the Christmas spirit in him. :)

My kids have been just as excited. It really is fun to watch!
Must be a treat to see snow since you don't see any of it in Houston. We could share some but we need all we can get and haven't gotten much this season. We'll have to take Rachel to the mountains where we can build a snowman.
