We have been having fun this summer as we attempt to stay cool. We enjoy going to the library on a weekly basis. And there's a nearby free play place that we frequent. Last Saturday we joined the Children's Museum and that's a fun place to go any day of the week! But at least 2-3 times a week you can find us enjoying the pool. The first time we went to the pool this summer the girls were absolutely fearless on the slides. The second time we went to the pool, they became a bit more cautious. So, most of our time at the pool is spent splashing around in the water, Rachel practicing her swimming skills, and the girls playing with our collection of swim toys. Andy has yet to make it to the pool with us. One of these Saturdays we'll find the time. It just seems that as we are still settling in, there's always plenty to do on Saturday! So, the girls and I have quite the tan this summer - it's been awhile!

Rachel is getting very anxious for preschool to start. But I keep on telling her to enjoy the remaining weeks we have. Because once preschool starts, the pools close for the season. So, we've got to make the most out of the next couple of weeks....

Looks like lots of fun! I haven't braved the pool with my 3 boys yet. I keep waiting for Kent to go with me but seems he's always working. :)
Fun times! Is this pool pretty close to you guys? I'm imagining that we'll have to live at the pool with all the heat and humidity when we move to Houston. And too bad that they close early--they do that here too, bummer!
