So, I'm a total number person. For example, I think it's so cool that Audrey is 11 months old on 11/11. I love certain dates and certain times and whatnot. The other day I was thinking of numbers and realized something. Andy turned 30 right before we moved to Holland and Rachel was roughly 18 months old. When we move back home, I will have turned 30 right before and Audrey will be roughly 18 months old. Is that weird??? Does anyone else notice these things? I'm still waiting to have a child on a really cool birth date. Audrey could have done 12/4/08 (12-4=8) or 12/10/08 (just counting down by twos), but of course she didn't cooperate. And Rachel could have been 5/1/06 (5+1=6), but no that wasn't in her plans either. Oh well, maybe one day a little one will arrive on a extraordinary date, like 11/11/11. I think I could handle that... 10/10/10 too soon... :)

I am so a number person! I love when my numbers on my odometer make a pattern or become all one number (I'm currently waiting for 55,555 miles). I was telling Sean that we should have this baby today so she would be born on 11/11 but it would be so much cooler if we had her on 09/09/09. Oh well, a little late for that! So if you're weird for liking numbers you're not alone!
You're cute Laura, and maybe the number thing is "weird" but if it is then I am weird too!:) I totally do that. Like, Justin's birthday is on the 16th, our anniversary is on the 17th, mine and Adam's birthdays are on the 18th, Spencer's birthday is the 20th, and I was hoping that this next one would be the 19th to make it all make "sense" but I don't think that's going to happen this time around. It is fun to pay attention to numbers and such...or at least I think so!:)
You make me smile Laura. I love to look at the clock when it reads 2:17. I always say "look it's my birthday" I was born on Feb. 17th. :) SO no your not weird.
You're not weird at all. Glenn's birthday is on the 18th of the month, mine on the 10th. Kimberly was born right between us on the 14th. Kimberly and Stacie were born on even numbered days in the middle of the month and 2 numbers apart - Kimberly the 14th and Stacie the 12th. Mark and David were born at the end of the month and 2 numbers apart - Mark on the 29th and David on the 27th. I don't think it's weird at all.
It seems as if there are many of us "weirdos" out there! I was heavily overdue with Sophie and desperate for her to come, but there were certain dates during March that I was willing to sacrifice by being pregnant for an extra day, just so it wouldn't be her birth date! Weird.
Okay, I'll add my numbers story to the rest of them. When I was pregnant with Jon and Jeremy, the doctor chose my due date as 8-8-88. I think my actual due date was close, but he thought it would be cool if they were born on that day. Well....didn't happen. They were born 4 weeks early on their Grandpa Smith's 62nd birthday (7-12-88). Oh well, we tried!
I know you'll be jealous. My brother just had a baby born on 9/9/09. What a fun b-day! I still remember when we found out our "due date" and you were quick to pop up with all these great # b-days close to the due date. It's great to always be thinking :)
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that's obsessed with numbers. I was thinking about it and actually we do have some uniqueness in our family. Rachel was born on the 9th, I was born on the 10th, and Audrey was born on the 11th. Andy's just the odd man out, but he's always been like that having an October birthday with the rest of his family celebrating in June and December. So, it may just stay that way, but I can always hope for a cool birthdate... :)
