Giro d'Italia

Ever heard of it? I hadn't until a few weeks ago. Last week Andy came home with a Pepto-Bismol-pink bike seat cover and water bottle. Ernst & Young is one of the many sponsors of this race. Basically, it's the Italian version of the Tour De France. Even though it's an Italian race, the first couple days where here in the Netherlands. Yesterday we were able to walk down to the end of our street around 11 AM and watch the bikers go by. Technically they were still warming up, but it was still neat to see... The race for the day didn't officially start until after they passed Amstelveen Town Hall.

As you can see from the video below, it took the majority of the racers about 10 seconds to pass us by...
